Vibrant Health Advocates – Gamma runs on the energy, expertise, and generosity of people who believe that young people in our community deserve better preparation for adult life.
Whether you have professional skills to offer, time to give as a volunteer, or resources to contribute as a donor or funding partner, there is a meaningful role for you in this work.
We are a small team, which means your contribution is never anonymous — it shapes programmes, changes decisions, and is felt directly by the young people we serve.

Peer Connector training day, Perth
Each route in is genuine, valued, and has a direct impact on the young people we serve across Perth and Kinross.
We recruit Peer Connectors, workshop co-facilitators, and administrative volunteers throughout the year. Whether you are a recent school leaver yourself or a professional with relevant expertise, we have a role that fits your skills and availability.
Express interestA one-off or regular donation goes directly into programme delivery — participant materials, facilitator training, and travel support for young people attending sessions from rural parts of Perth and Kinross. Every amount makes a concrete difference at our scale.
Donate nowWe welcome partnerships with schools, colleges, local businesses, and public bodies who share our commitment to young people's wellbeing. Whether that means hosting a session, co-funding a programme, or connecting us with your networks, we would love to talk about what collaboration could look like.

Near-peer support making a real difference
We are not a large bureaucracy with layers of administration between your contribution and its effect. When you volunteer with us, you sit in the room. When you donate, you see what it funds in the next programme report. When you partner with us, you shape what we deliver alongside the young people you care about.
Our Peer Connectors — the young volunteers who've been through our programmes and now support others — tell us consistently that volunteering changed them as much as it helped the people they mentored. The reciprocity is real.
"The most powerful thing we can offer young people isn't information alone, but permission. Permission to take their own mental health seriously. Permission to ask for help."
If you've completed our programmes and you're 18–22, you're invited to apply to become a trained Peer Connector. Here's what that looks like.
Active listening, boundary-setting, signposting to services — skills that serve you for life, not just the programme.
Paired with a younger participant for a structured, supported mentoring relationship with regular check-ins from our team.
A formal volunteering certificate and reference for your CV — recognised by employers, colleges, and universities.
